The Centre in association with IAPT-Midnapore College Centre for Scientific Culture used to design Low Cost Measurement based Experiment in Science for concept building and improvement of Science Education

Glimpses of some Important activities:
First activity of the Centre was NEAC of Department of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India where the Centre undertook Hydrological Study in and around Midnapore (about 60 Sq Kms)with the help of Department of Geology and Geophysics IIT Kharagpur a published a study paper and depicted the result through Science Exhibition in 1987 at Midnapore College for Public. The document was also forwarded to Midnapore Zilla Parishad, Midnapore Municipality for consideration and DoEN through Regional Coordinating agency , School of Fundamental Research Kolkata

11. Conducted summer workshops at Nehru Museum, IIT Kharagpur and joined hands with TLC-IIT Kharagpur for scientific activities
12. Cooperated with many schools in the area for organizing scientific activities and many others in its 38-year of existence.
